Charities
All profits from the 2020 STOMP Jungle Party will be evenly split between the below three charities that have an immediate focus on rescue and rehabilitation of the wildlife and habitats that have been devastated by recent bushfires.
Rainforest 4 Foundation
Rainforest 4 Foundation are raising $1 million to immediately plant 100,000 trees. Your support is urgently needed to restore habitat for endangered wildlife. Rainforests provide habitat for more species of plants and animals than any other ecosystem.
Rainforests provide a vital refuge for plants and animals especially when fires occur. Rainforests are less likely to burn than eucalyptus forests. Planting rainforest trees is one essential solution to protect Wildlife, Climate, People and the Planet.
STOMP Founder, Mark McEwen is organising a group of volunteers to go with him to plant rainforest seedlings. If you would like to help and be part of this group of volunteers, express your interest here.
Wildlife Rescue South Coast
Wildlife Rescue South Coast (WRSC) is a 100% volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of Australian Native Fauna.
The catastrophic NSW South Coast bushfires have destroyed millions of hectares of bush. It is estimated that over 1 billion animals have been killed, and those that have survived face life-threatening food and water shortages and now more than ever, funding is needed to rehabilitate and release bushfire affected wildlife.
Koala Hospital
The Koala Hospital is not only a Hospital to treat sick and injured koalas but it is also involved in research with University Sydney, University Technology Queensland and the Australian Museum into koala diseases.
Between 200 and 250 koalas are admitted through the Hospital annually and recently, the Hospital has been inundated with injured koalas following the devastating bushfires in NSW.
